British officers took a bit of civilization and their leather Roorkhee chair with them no matter where they went nor how difficult the conditions. There were proprieties to be maintained. This folding leather chair was a staple around the campfire when the port was proffered. Heavy, double-layered cowhide with elegant leather piping. Brass hardware. Elegant enough for the den, built for the campsite. Leather Roorkhee chair in black. Simple assembly required. 31"H x 22½"W x 22½"D.

Wanted to love it, but...,

from Dallas, Texas
"This chair has a handsome appearance and is quite comfortable, for short periods of sitting.
However, longer periods of sitting, you start to notice just how far back it leans and the fact that there is no neck support... the back is fairly short, so you may develop some fatigue and/or stiffness in your neck and back, as I did.
Also, the brass hardware at the ends of the leather arms, which resemble square buckles, are sharp of edge and corner... EXTREMELY uncomfortable, if you make contact with 'em. This hardware also appears more decorative, than anything... the leather arms are kept in place with Sam Browne-style button studs.
I tested this chair out over four days, but ultimately returned it.
