"I bought this hounds/navy shirt in Small size,.I wore it two times already. I normally buy my dress shirts in size 151/2" 32/33", but this size fits me well. The cloth is a little thick compared to linen shirts that cost more. But I could wear it all year round. A few days ago I bought another one in Cream color, using my $25 coupon. I enjoy wearing these linen shirts."

"I like the feel of the fabric, but I'm afraid the color is way off the description. The minute houndstooth may be chocolate brown, but from 2 feet away it looks like a sort of dark taupe. Very disappointing to a fan of chocolate brown."

"This linen shirt is very comfortable. Keeps me warm when the weather is cool, and cool when its hot.
Would be better to have more shirt sizes -- for tall, lean men. I have long arms, so to get a fit in the arms, I have to order a Large / Long = but then the shirt is cut too bulky in the body."

"Shirt is way too big in the body. I need an xl for my arms and shoulders. The body of the shirt would accommodate a 450 pound man. Scale down the size or offer a fitted size."

"First, the colour shown on line was dark blue, but the colour received was light blue houndst. The size on the label was "M", as ordered, but it was more like extra large, (I have always found Orvis "M" to fit me fine). I would have kept it if it fitted as the shirt was good and the colour, although not what I ordered, was good"

"This was not up to the normal high standard expected from Orvis.
Firstly was the sizing - we ordered large, the lable said large but the item was at the very least XL.
The linen was also very this and heavy, no way was this goinig to be a cool summer wear."

"Being larger than average, I was a little hesitant about this shirt but I wanted a linen shirt for the summer and decided to order one for my dad at the same time.
It fit very well, is long enough in both the body and sleeve and is a pleasing muted pattern. It IS linen, so if you don't like ironing, you may want a different offering but it irons flat in less than three minutes"

"This shirt is too cool for school. You can dress it up and it breathes great. It feels great against bare skin. My GF likes it but doesn't like to iron it at all. Oh well, everyting comes with a price. This price was right. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this shirt and you too will be livin' in linen.."

"Shipping was very fast, as usual. The shirt is very well-made, looks and feels very good. I'm a solid 46 in the chest, and I was surprised at how roomy the shirt was. Normally I wear my shirts a bit more snugly than I find Orvis shirts to be sized. Other than that, I have no comments."

"We do not need to wear the item. It is too small through the top for an X-large and too long in the sleeves for it to be altered to fit anyone shorter than 6'10". It was wadded up inside the mailing package--obviously done before it being slipped into the mailer. It is on its way back."
