"Very comfortable!
I wear a large, but in this , I think a medium would be big enough. The shoulders droop a little and the shirt is roomy. I would say style is great-comfort is great-size - not so great.
That being said, I would buy again, but a smaller size."

"in a world of poly, nylon tech fiber shirts, if you like cotton, you will love this shirt. Heavy, very soft, full cut and looks good tucked in or out. Looks great with jeans or casual slacks"

"I was quite pleased by the quality of the shirt (fabric, color, etc.)and it looks like it will last. However, it looks a little goofy on me with only two buttons.
If I leave the top button unbuttoned it looks kind of like something a priest would wear. I would recommend adding a third button so you could button the bottom two and leave the top one open. This would provide a much better appearance."

"Maybe it's just me, but when I see the stitch marks from sewing on the label on the back of the shirt, it bugs me. Maybe nobody else cares if they have a big square stitch marks on the back of their shirt? They must be selling them to some body."

"This polo is constructed in a superior way and has a one of kind hand (feel). The design features, two color cuff and neck, flag banded neck tape, tabs on the notch ends in the vents of the long tail all added together distance this garment light years from the competition. The price for a shirt this quality is the best you can find. The only problem is will you live long enough to see this shirt in its finest, faded glory twenty years from now, because it will undoubtedly last that long if someone doesn't clip it from your weekender bag or gym locker or sailboat galley hook before then."

"My husband lives in polos and thus considers himself an expert. He loves this shirt. True to size and color but equally important the weight of the fabric is excellent: not too light (cheap feeling) and not too heavy (bulky). We've tried many other brands this year and he says this is the best so far. These polos are a little pricier than some so I'll watch for sales and definitely buy him another one when they (hopefully) go on sale or when Orvis provides free or reduced shippong."

I recently purchased chino style jeans, and 2 dress/sport shirts
no disappointments there, either.
The only comment I will make is about their graduated shipping costs,they can be , should be restructured. ( being forced to get their "credit card" to eliminate those costs is not an acceptable alternative) But the products are
great. , Thanks."

"I bought the shirt for the fit and the accents colors on the sleeves and collar. The large label on the inside is not comfortable and I cut it out. I doubt many people buy a shirt for the label that no one else can see."

"This is a subtly unique polo with very nicely detailed accents, both at the collar and side vents. The touches of orange material at these locations makes this shirt distinctive. Excellent mid-weight material and flag collar band make this shirt more than just your standard navy polo. Sized consistent with other Orvis shirts, I would strongly recommend this one!"

"Shirt is well constructed but, without a t-shirt underneath, the label in the back pricks the skin and becomes a minor irritant. Either the stitching on the label or the label material creates the problem. I believe Orvis has excellent quality but would not buy another shirt with this type of label."
