The name of the park and an important natural feature are woven into the pure Pendleton wool fabric. The Pendleton label signifies authenticity. "Thicker than I thought it would be. An excellent value, really, given the costs of other all wool blankets.
You need to decide if he color is your cup of tea. I liked it. Orvis should take a photo of a larger portion of the blanket.
Very warm by the way."

"This is a very well made warm wool blanket with beautiful warm colors that really brighten up a room. There's a nice commemorative "Yellowstone Park Blanket" patch made of fabric with "Pendleton Woolen Mills of Portland Oregon" clearly legible, as well as a second soft leather patch with the Pendleton logo. This is an heirloom quality blanket.
The blanket itself is made from medium weight (not too thin, not too thick) very durable wool, not as soft and smooth as merino wool, but not itchy at all. It feels thick enough to last a lifetime.
The size is marked as "Full," but it fits OK on a queen sized bed, though not quite wide enough to tuck in on both sides.
In Winter, throw this on top of a thick but not-so-warm bottom blanket, and it will trap all the heat quite well.
Highly recommended."
