"The Ponte-Knit Pants satisfied all of my needs and went beyond that. I particularly appreciate the gentle stretch of the pants. With the combination of viscose (rayon), nylon and spandex, these pants have a silky soft hand -- they feel luxurious on my skin. And the drape is lovely. Dress up or down -- these pants go anywhere. I highly recommend washing in cold water on a gentle cycle and use air-only dryer cycle. I will be ordering these pants again."

"I was looking forward to these pants based on the other reviews. The fabric is soft but not clingy, the color is a true black, and the style actually is a narrow leg (as opposed to slim pants from other vendors). However, while the legs were a good fit, the pant (M) was way too big in the waist and hips. I am debating whether to try a small or simply return for a refund."

"I am satisfied with these pants, which I kept because they are well made and comfortable. They look only fair on me. I think they will be useful for travel as they are stretchy but I don't think they will loose their shape."

"These pants are comfortable and smart looking (on me at least). The material is substantial yet has lots of give. I like the wide waistband, but if that's something you don't like, keep it in mind. The pants don't have pockets, but the fit is so great I can live with that. If you don't like the look of skinny pants, don't be concerned about these pants. They are trim but NOT skinny. Another great feature of the material is that dog hair and dust don't stick to it as much as the material of other pants and skirts I've worn. This may not be a concern for a lot of women but I have several dogs and I live in a rural area with lots of dust. Getting from house to car while staying dust free can sometimes be a challenge. The dust brushes right off! I'm really pleased with these pants and I'll use them for church and also for travel."

"I ordinarily love Orvis products, and these pants seemed to be made well, but...the description did not match the product! These were NOT narrow leg pants...rather baggy, actually. They also seemed rather short to me. So, I guess, for someone with shorter legs who is not looking for a slim fit, they would be fine. I am 5'7", and my legs are neither heavy nor thin."

"It's my fault for ordering these pants, since I always try to get pants with pockets. They fit nicely, but I do need pockets because of my allergies (need that Kleenex with me). I will take them back and find a pair that fits, with pockets."

"These pants are great. The perfect fit, not too loose, not so form-fitting that every imperfection shows. Excellent material, no cotton, so no mid-morning baggy knees or butt. Good length, I didn't have to have them shortened like I usually do.

"This pant should be in everyone's closet. So easy to slip on, really like the wide looking waist band (comfortable), the drape is perfect and it can go either casual or dress-up. Flattering overall look. I got the medium (I'm 5'6" 140 lbs & have no hips, thin long legs, flat backside, thick waist). It was a perfect fit. I like these pants for year-around."

"These pants are made of lovely fabric, stretchy enough but no baggines.
They fit me perfectly in my normal size, small, and hang nicely.
I've washed them once on a cold water machine fastwash and dried them flat and they have come out looking great
No shrinkage or colour run.
Well worth the price."

"Just received these pants in the mail this morning. I have a hard time finding pants that look good on me and when I put these on Viola! I look good! And they couldn't be more comfortable! The material is very rich looking. I was very hesitant to order these pants, because I felt they were too expensive. But I needed a pair of black pants for the rehearsal dinner at my daughter's wedding next month. These pants are worth every penny! If they were offered in more colors besides black I certainly would order another color!"

"These pants are nicely finished in a beautiful fabric that drapes well and keeps its shape. They are very comfortable and practical for traveling and they don't wrinkle. I've had good results washing them in cold water and hanging them dry. They dry quickly. Easy care, forgiving fit, and well worth the price."
