Hydros Tarpon Line
The Hydros Tarpon Line is designed to deliver large flies with a minimal amount of false casting. Two-tone line with stealth tip. Second color change at 30' from the tip helps to measure distance on featureless flats and provides an ideal load point. This floating tarpon fly line has a heavy, compact head loads fast action rods quickly and accurately with smooth, positive leader turnover.

"Recently purchased 10 wt and used in belize shortly after. Line performs well and shoots fairly easily. While I understand the drive to be eco-friendly, the cardboard spool this comes on is worthless. Most folks will generally have another (or old) line they would like to store on the spool from the new line, and this isnt really practical with the spool this comes on. That alone might be enough to consider another brand of line in the future, especially when at this price point."

"Great balance for the 10wt Helios Rod. The Head was just right for quick short casts for sight fishing. It was easy to reach them at 80ft too.. The thing liked the most was at night, I could feel a distinct end to the rear taper and then shoot the last back cast and launch the forward cast in to the night. Strong welded loops."

"That line is absolutely perfect, it can quickly load the rod, has virtually no memory and allows for accurate shots ... but who had the bad idea to put a cardboard spool almost impossible to reuse to store the line."
