The Ultimate Cold-Weather Hat
This fleece lined winter hat is ultralight, packable, and has highly water-resistant plush fleece lining and fleece-lined ear flaps with hook-and-loop closure. Stowaway face mask with a nylon outer face and a soft, looped interior. Exterior drawcord adjustment. Brim snaps to crown. Fleece lined winter hat in black, evergreen. Nylon/silk/polypropylene. Washable. ImportedSizes: M(7⅛), L(7⅜), XL(7⅝).

"Extremely light, and scrunches up into a small space.
Yet keeps my head & face completely warm in a -8°C blizzard. No additional protection needed. The hidden face cover and magnetic peak is a work of real genius. This really is the ultimate cold-weather hat."

"It is not pretty, but it will protect you in really cold weather. Walked the dog with this hat on in minus 7 degree wind chill weather. I was more comfortable than the dog."

"The good first: The hat is super lightweight and can be fitted into a pocket, for those days where a big fur ushanka is just too much bother. The lack of fur trim makes better eyesight, which is great when biking or having other need of good visibility. The front piece comes out and in place easily and gives good cover.
The bad: I recieved it crumbled up in an envelope, all wrinkled. Not a very nice 'unwrapping experience', kinda ruined it for me, but the hat itself has convinced me of its qualities. The lack of fur trim obviously gives less coverage on throat and cheeks. I high collar, neckpiece or scarf is neccesary when the ill winds blow! At minus 10-15 celsius plus windchill, this was not enough, fur ushanka required. Around minus 5 to plus 5 is the sweet zone for this hat. It is quite warm, despite being so thin. The front piece takes odour very quickly as you breathe into it, so if youre a smoker..The whole hat feels more like a lightweight windstopper-rainhat with fleece on the inside, than it does an aviator/ushanka hat..but surprisingly warm and snug and you really feel protected from the elements.
Despite the poor impression upon delivery due to human sloppyness, this hat has won my heart by its own quality!"

"I work as a military contractor in Afghanistan working outside.This winter jan/2013 we have had temps below zero.I have worn the hat for 8 hours outside and my head was toasty the whole time.The hideaway face cover is very handy and useful as well.I am going to order another one for home use."

"Used last week for snowblowing the driveway in the wind. Hat was very warm, waterproof, and not bulky like other bomber style hats. Hat also has a stored face sheild that is hidden in an interior side pocket to be pulled out when needed. This is an excellent feature.....one of those hidden orvis gems."

"I bought this hat for my husband in size large. Fit just right. It's very light weight and was worried it would be too thin but he said it was very warm (he had to take it off because he was too warm). Will be perfect for sub zero weather. The face mask is an added bonus and was comfortable with plenty of coverage. Am tempted to buy one for myself."

"This is such a great idea for a hat. Incorporating a face mask within the hat itself so you don't have to live with the hassle of carrying another piece of clothing with you.
