"Surprisingly soft for alpaca. Nice and warm. XXL is the right size, although I usually wear XL, so sizing must be off a bit on this item."
"This was a great purchase. The thing I really like about this cardigan is its high neck line. Most cardigans I see have this really deep v neck and they just look kind of stupid in my opinion. The weight and feel of the Alpaca wool I like. It's breathable and not too heavy. By most standards I am a large and in this case the large fit well, except for one thing - which is the reason why I give it 4 stars instead of 5 - the sleeves are a little too long and are also cuffed, so when wearing it the sleeves kind of droop down and bunch above the cuff giving it a slightly puffy effect. I also have longer than average arms for my size, so I imagine this effect might be more pronounced on someone with shorter arms. This does not, however, make it unattractive to the point where I wouldn't want to wear it, and trust me, I'm picky about these sorts of things and they are often a make or break point for me. Furthermore, I would actually guess that it's one of those things that most people would not notice unless pointed out. Anyway it is something to consider when picking your size. In terms of color, they are more vibrant than what's depicted in the image here (which is something I wish Orvis would pay more attention to). The greens are brighter (closer to spearmint) and the buttons are a richer, attractive, chestnut color. At the end of the day, the two real selling points for me are its unique colors as well as the high v neck line."
