Orvis Classic Landing Net
This fly-fishing landing net is handsomely crafted start to finish by master Maine craftsmen. Native Maine ash wood makes up the single strip bow, while hard walnut forms the strong laminated handle. Soft catch-and-release net bag. Brass eyelet attaches to net retriever. Made in USA.

"I purchased the large size and have had the net a year now had lots of fish in it and so far no rips in the net, so it must be strong , great to have on your back you don't know it's there until you need it , the net is very soft so good for the fish. I would buy again so this net is recommended"

"I added this to my equipment list pretty quickly once I started FF. It is a good quality net without a big ticket price. I used it in Tennessee with small trout and then for catching and pulling in bass. I take it out with me every time I fish."

"This net looks and feels great but I have grown to really dislike it. The mesh netting is terrible. I spend more time getting my flies out of the mesh than I do taking them out of the fish I catch! The mesh has multiple holes from this now. I would completely stay away from this product and get a rubber net. I am definitely not happy with this net. I wish I purchased a rubber net from orvis instead! If i could return it, i would."

"just what you'd expect, well made and comfortable in the hand. However - a note on size - I had planned to buy the small size, but upon reading other's comments, I opted for the medium instead of small. The medium size however, was tiny, really small. A large bottle of water (2 quarts) would just fit inside. If you want a typical size, get a large."

"This is a very well made net, but pay attention to the dimensions. I ordered the medium since I prefer to catch something larger than minnows - but it is too small for general use. I'm returning it for the large - which seems about the minimum useful size."

"I purchase the Orvis large trout net. This product is great for the trout fishing I do. It is gentle on the fish, light weight, durable and the design makes it easier to get the fish into the net. I have landed even the larger Brown's with ease. I highly recommend this product."

"This is a great net! I just purchased the large size, and I must say it is super light and very sturdy. Though I have not used it on any fish yet, the pocket is very deep. This net will last for many of fish and years in my book. Thanks so much Orvis!"

"I purchased this net in medium also and have been very pleased. The wood finish is handsome and durable. It is the perfect size and weight to forget about while hanging behind me and still plenty sturdy to net large trout. Very happy with it and plan on giving it lots of exercise. :)

"I purchased the medium size and really like this net. It is lightweight and i have it attached to my waist pack. It is pretty strong, i have landed some decent size browns and it is holding up well. Glad i picked the medium size, not so small and not to big. Its a perfect size."
