Excellent Pants!,
April 1, 2013
By: HunterConservationist
from Northern California
"Since purchasing my Raschers I wore them on a quail hunt and on opening day of turkey season. The pants are extremely comfortable and wear well, weather it was walking long distances as in my quail hunt or sitting under a tree waiting for that gobbler. On both occasions the weather was wet, cold, and windy; while my pants kept me dry and warm. Rascher truly makes an excellent product."

Awesome!!,

"These are truly incredible pants! Buy a size up as the waist band has some elastic points that make them fit slightly smaller."

Amazing briar pants,
October 26, 2012
By: ZachAttack
from Camilla, Georgia
"Not a single briar sticks to the outside of these pants. My other companions wore other upland pants, but these out performed them.
The pattern cut of these pants is extremely comfortable, they are extremely warm and I cannot wait to wear these int he field again."

"Excellent quality material that is comfortable in the field as well as on weekends at home. The cut of the pants makes them appear as a pair of chinos!"

well made field pants,
February 27, 2012
By: razerdok
from Lexington,Ky.
"These field pants are well made as I would expect from a German product. I expect they will last a good while and hold up to the abuse of many trips into rugged country. The seams are very well sewn, the pockets are taut and the waist band lays well and is very comfortable. I have not worn them enough to know if my expectations are to be realized. They do run small and are Euro sized so I recommend ordering up 1 size particularly if you are of generous stature.I don't expect them to shrink much with washing and I doubt that they will stretch much either. In general another quality Orvis product. Highly recommended with attention to sizing."

Great Pants,

By: Phlierod

"I bought these pants for a trip to Germany that included several driven shoots for big game and some bird hunting in cold, nasty weather. But I also wanted a good looking pant that was appropriate for estate hunting. These pants are warm, dry and quiet. An excellent overall value."

Great but adjust for European sizing,
November 14, 2011
By: Fayettevillegal
from Fayetteville, AR
"Quality construction and materials in these well-designed field pants. My husband normally wears a 34, but these run small and the 34s were a little snug. We reordered these in a 36 and the fit was was perfect. Great for the upland field.
We also had a problem with the hem length - ordered the pants finished to 32" and they arrived unhemmed. They were a gift and intended for a Kansas hunting trip that was just days away. Customer service was great and overnighted a new pair of pants with the proper hem in time for my husband's pheasant hunting trip. Orvis customer service was outstanding as always!"

Grouse Hunting,
October 14, 2011
By: lopnhrvr
"These pants performed admirably while grouse hunting in New Hampshire. Warm, comfortable, and utilitarian. Waist fit well. I am a 33" waist and 34's fit perfectly, most likely because they are European made. Better than usual for Orvis pants which usually seem cut too large in the waist. Salesman at Orvis store gave good advice in this regard."

Excellent Purchase,
October 3, 2011
By: MoosesTooth
"I found these pants terrific on a recent moose hunt in central British Columbia. We had five days of rain and snow with high winds but the pants performed wonderfully, keeping me warm and dry the entire time. Worn with thermal underwear, they're thick enough 20 degree F weather. I'll definitely buy another pair for backup. Sizing is a problem. I first ordered a 34 in. waist and found them too snug. Re-ordered a 36 in. waist, which is 3 in. above my normal waist size and found them perfect. Well done Orvis."

Nice pants - poor size,
September 30, 2011
By: Gunslinger
"I've been buying Orvis products for years and generally have very few problems. Ordered these hunting pants and found them far too tight in the waist, despite the fact that the European size 52 should equal a 36 inch waist. They actually measured 34". Orvis service thought they might have been mis-labeled and sent a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement also measured 34". Service advisors should have update info available regarding how sizes actually fit."
