Great shirt, but get a size larger than normal,

"Aside from the fact that this shirt runs small overall, it is a great shirt. I bought the brown at first in a size Large. After wearing it a few times I realized it would be too small. Sadly, the brown is no longer available in XL but I did pick up the navy plaid in XL.
After the first wash/dry cycle, this shirt fits great. Now if only I could find the brown.
Colors are fantastic. I'd suggest that you buy it one size larger to ensure proper fit overall as a regular cut shirt ought to fit. Unless of course you like that slim look that seems to be the rage in fashion these days, you could go with the size you normally wear."

"I have purchased both of the available colors of this Barbour shirt and both look great and I receive many compliments. I normally wear a medium or large size depending on the shirt manufacturer and this shirt manufacturer tends to run towards the large size even though I get a medium size, its a roomy medium, but other then that, great shirt, I'm very happy with it!"

Beautiful Shirt but...,

"This is a beautiful shirt but the sleeves are much too long. I ordered a Medium---and, as your records will show---I have purchased many medium shirts from Orvis; Viyellas, Madras, twills, and have never had this problem. My regular sleeve length is 33; this shirt has sleeves of 34-35. I have asked a seamstress to shorten the sleeves because I do not want to return it. I would like to purchase one in another color but don't think I will."
