Women's long chemise with stand collar, full button front, long tapered sleeves. Small set-in pockets in the bodice seam. Washable. Imported.Regular sizes: 6-20; about 33" long from waistline. "Lovely color (thistle) and nice weight, very warm and soft but I sure hope it doesn't shrink with washing. I ordered my usual size 16, which fits well in the shoulders but is a little snug in the bust, maybe just not the right cut for a 40 C chest."

"I looked at the dress for several months, but hesitated because of the price. I love longish warm winter dresses and have not been able to find any in my size and length. When it went on sale I ordered it. Unfortunately, even though I ordered it in my size, it fit through the top but was way too skimpy to be comfortable or flattering through the hips. I am so disappointed!"

"After reading all the reviews, I wasn't sure I would be happy with this dress but I've wanted it for some time so finally ordered it. I ordered a regular size 8, rather than my usual 10 and it fits perfectly. I'm 5'5" and the length is perfect, too. I'm very glad I finally purchased this classic dress."

"The First time I wore this I burst the two bottom buttons off.
I opened up the back seam and made a vent, put the buttons back and sewed the front up as far as half way between the two bottom buttons.
So far everything now ok.
Perhaps I needed a larger size in this style? !!"

"Realizing that Orvis' products are generously sized, I ordered this dress in a 6--normally I wear between a size 6 and a size 8. It was still huge, particularly through the bodice, and so would better suit someone who is bigger chested than I am. But while the dress was huge, it was an excellent quality fabric. Yes, it's heavy, but not unreasonably so. Just needs the right figure for it."

"Sadly, I had to return this attractive corduroy dress. Although it was well-made, the Orvis sizing didn’t meet my needs. I’m of average height (close to 5’6”) but have narrow shoulders and a slender build from the waist up. I ordered a size 4P because my first priority was to accommodate my shoulder width. When the dress arrived and I tried it on, I was pleased to discover that it fit nicely in the shoulders, as well as in the sleeve length. However, it being a petite size, the bust darts were a bit too high for me and the length of the dress was too short. I wish Orvis offered clothing in a size XS regular (2-4). Your S regular (6-8) is way too big for me in tops and dresses (as for my hips, well, that’s another story!), but your petite size 4 doesn’t work for me either. ...BTW, the actual color of the dress I ordered (blush) isn’t anything like the blush color pictured online and in the print catalog. What I received was labeled “blush” but far more resembled the khaki color you offer. If the dress had fit well, I would have kept it, but I would have been disappointed in the color."

"The good news is that Orvis stands behind their products 100%. And that they sell quality merchandise!
The bad news is that I misjudged the size and ordered a size too large. This dress is not form fitting so don't order a size up. Also the blush color looks too beige. I returned this and bought the thistle. It has arrived and I'm very pleased!!! Good news!!!"
