"The belt is constructed of quality leather and nice hardware, problem is that the female end of the belt is so thick it takes considerable effort to feed it through the belt loops of slacks and jeans. A poorly executed
design, obviously no real world testing. Mine is already separating from being forced through loops."

"The leather is beautiful, as for the rest, just not for me. I thought I could use the D ring for the keys I carry and use all day, not unless you want to dangle your keys like a sporran. The keep has to be next to the buckle to retain the belt and it's not attractive. This belt was designed to be part of a military uniform and neither functions nor looks appropriate in any other form."

"The description does not mention that the tongue of the belt is sewn together... I anticipated it being 1 peice.. I cannot imagine it lasting as long as a one piece belt..BUT--it is very attractive and I'll enjoy wearing it.often."

"This is a very solid and nice looking belt. I like buying american made stuff and I don't mind paying the extra for it. My main issue with this belt is that it is very difficult to remove from your pants. The belt is very thick and has a leather layer sewn on top of the main belt so it snags when trying to remove it. This bends the leather and stresses the seam. It will likely reduce the life of the belt. I'd say it snags on 75% of the pants I try to wear it with. This relegates the belt to a special occasion belt and not an everyday belt."

"I'm 6' and 260 pounds. This belt looks great on me and holds up my pants, which is why I bought it. :)
No real negatives. The other reviews mentioned the fact that it catches on the belt loops when taking it off. Maybe they will finally do something about that in the future. It's not a reason not to buy the belt."

"Belt is made very, very well made but the overall scale of the buckle and width goes better with larger men - 6 Ft or better. The belt width and design pulls and snags in my ultimate khaki pants belt loops when I remove it. Love to have this belt scaled down a bit to a 1 1/4 inch width. I am returning mine but if you keep it, it looks and feels like it will last a lifetime."

"The quality of the materials and workmanship was everything I expected in the way of an American made product. It goes on well but, the belt was made of two lenghts of leather and the seam catches on the beltloops making it hard to remove from the pants. You have to manually thread it back thru each loop.
I would recommend it but only after I made it clear about the aforementioned drawback."

"This is a stout belt that I had wanted. It was the color I needed, strength and quality. It has held it's patina, it's shape despite some heavy usage and weight bearing. The only reason I gave it 4 stars in the expectations category is that the holes for adjustment were sewn on (leather to leather)and not an integral part of the belt. This sometimes makes removal through tight belt loops a little laborious as the belt is double thickness at that juncture. Overall it is a quality made belt and hope to last a long time."
