"One of the nicest belts I ever bought. The contrast stitching and thick glossy bridle leather make this belt appropriate for dress or jeans.Just a word for the two poor reviews. Bridle leather is stiffer than calf and there are many many shades of black. The size recommendation is right on."

"When I saw the Sedwick Bridal-Leather Belt, I was somewhat hesitant in making the purchase for I thought the $129 was a little too expensive. However, I did make the purchase & once it arrived, I felt like I would have this belt a lifetime! It looks & feels of the "quality" leather that it is made! It is still somewhat stiff but each day I wear it, I can tell that it will "break-in" very nice!"

"The belt is attractive and appears well made but the structure is very rigid. I bought a belt from Orvis previously and it cost less and was much softer. I'm concerned the quality may not endure. For $129 I expected something more impressive."

"I wanted a black, semi dress / casual belt for months. I work in a business casual environment and need a quality black belt. I knew the Sedgwick Bridle Leather Belt would be perfect, but wrestled with the price. I finally purchased it and could not be more pleased. The quality is evident and the appearance is understated fine leather. It is stiff initially, but softens after the second use. No regrets on the price. Very durable...should last a long time."

"This is a really nice belt. I got it in black and the lighter colored stitching makes it look nice as well. It's a little wider than usual skinny dress belt so feels right for casual wear. I had it on with Khaki shorts and a black polo and, unsolicted, even my 19 year son commented how nice it looked! 'Nuf said!"

"The belt is really lovely. The stitiching, the leather and the finish all exceeded my already high expectations having only had a photograph and other reviews to go off.
This is in no way a criticism of the purchasing process but gift wrapping would be a good option to have on the site. A plain box with the belt wrapped in a dark coloured tissue paper would be ideal and classic looking."

"Flawlessly crafted and stiched. Typical of "MADE IN THE USA" products. Out of the box the leather had a dusty appearance, but a little brown shoe polish and buffing and the belt had a sparkling shine. I expect this belt will last a lifetime"

"i had purchased the double prong in tan with a natural leather lining and was very happy with it. But needing a black belt i tried this one. It is very stiff and I can only hope ;that if will soften in time. But it is not comfortable to wear right out of the box."

"This is a very nice belt. Good color, good quality leather, good feel, good fit. It has a solid brass buckle. It is well made and gives every appearance of a belt that will be serviceable for a long time. I have the belt in both black and dark brown. "I purchased this belt as a gift for my son. The quality and appearance is good however my son wears a size 32 in all his pants and jeans so as instructed I ordered a 34. The 34 was too small and I had to return it for a 36 which fits fine."
