"I already have the long black waistcoat in this range. This shorter version is just as good! The fabric is great because it does not crease. The waistcoat can be worn alone like a sleeveless blouse or over a shirt. This is because the fit is excellent. It is worth the price. The bark colour is lovely with black/navy etc. I expect I will end up getting the navy as well!"

"This is a well-made vest that fits well except for the extra large armholes. I liked it well enough that I am having it altered but I notice others have commented on the armholes so perhaps a modification in the pattern is needed."

"The quality was good and looked very much like what I wanted. I knew Orvis styles run big so I ordered a small when I normally take a medium. It was still way too big for me--like a 16. There's no way I could wear it so had to send it back and keep looking."
