"This is an excellent sweater which is obviously very well manufactured. After 2 washes, there is no shrinkage and I know it will last for years.
Sizing is very generous - I got size XL and there is considerable room to spare so I will have to wear something underneath it.
I can recommend the sweater to others but bear in mind it is very generously sized."

"I have a bright blue one of these, and very fine it is, so I thought I'd order another in navy. Alas Orvis are colourblind, for "navy" turns out to be bright purple. Not cool, back it went."

"I've bought this sweatshirt in two other colors so like the style & quality. This time, I ordered the color Navy Blue and got Purple instead. Now, if you go to the website, you'll find that there is no purple. The color was nice, however it was not Navy Blue.
Maybe you should test market the color purple"

"The signature sweatshirt is my favorite cool weather garment. The colors are sharp and the fabric is soft, but durable. The combination zip and snap closure collar sits up well on the neck and is extremely comfortable. I won several and wear them constantly."

"I have a large size (I'm 5'11' and 150 pounds, 40ML coat, 16x34 shirt, 34x30 trouser) which fits me comfortably and amply without restriction or limitation, in all ways, but one.. I really love the look and feel (did I mention that it's SOFT?).
But, if I had my druthers, the zippered placket opening would be larger. I have to be careful when putting it on -- it's a pretty snug fit over my head (7 5/8 hat) and a few times I've got a scrape on the bridge of my nose from the zipper. A little larger, there, would be much appreciated."

"These Signature sweatshirts are my favorites. I have several and most winter days will have me wearing one. Comfortable and smart looking. They are not run of the mill mass merchandised shirts, but distinctive and classy looking. Both my adult sons have them too. They last for many years."

"My kids bought me this sweatshirt for christmas in (red) XXL. I love it and the fit was great. So, I ordered another one in January in (green) XXL, but it came marked the right size, but the fit was sloppy unlike the Red one it was perfect, but the green fits like it was a XXXL instead of the XXL like it was marked. I should have been able to exchange it even tho I had worn it."

"My initial reaction was to return this shirt. It did not fit well, ballooning around the waist.
The navy blue looks distinctly purple in normal light. The elastic cuffs are too big and the sleeves flap around.
I wanted to return the shirt but my wife liked how it looked.
Wish I had returned the shirt."
