"This item had a strong smell from cologne and I found $2.00 in the pocket. It was obviously worn and returned. I didn't know you sold used clothing. The buttons had bright embossed "Orvis" on them...a walking billboard!!

"For once an item that is XXL doesn't have sleeves that reach your kneecaps - the length is fine with one roll-up to make a cuff. The color is good, it is flattering to the bigger guy.
Unfortunately I hate to be a walking advertisment and the buttons complete with Orvis name are a bit much. Otherwise I'd give it a 5."

"Can't go wrong with Orvis sweaters. This double breasted blue beauty is no exception, although the buttons are a little challenging to push through the button holes and I'm a little nervous that the button hole material might begin to stretch out after a few too many buttonings. The overall look is very classy and I've received a lot of compliments on it, although I wish I would have ordered one size larger - with both buttons fastened, it's a little snug. SInce I got it on sale, I can't complain and I think the style and warmth are well worth the price. Not my new favorite sweater, but definitely one that I'll grab for a casual meeting or coffee."

"I bought this sweater for two reasons; one to wear in the house when it is chilly and another because it looks great with a white turtleneck or mock turtleneck. I would wear it out to dinner or even to church. The double breasted look is, to me, very elegant and professional."

"The sweater is unique as it is a double breasted one. I received two days before our temperatures dropped into the single digits. Wore it buttoned to the top along with a top coat and felt toasty. I also use it as a dress sweater on the weekends and received many nice compliments.
Received the trout bracelet from my wife as a Christmas present and it disappeared from my wrist after three days of wearing it. Since the trout emblem slid the entire length of the bracelet, I'm guessing that it caught on the clasp and broke it. I would suggest a safety catch be added or fix the trout emblem to a single position on the bracelet."

"The sweater is substantial and could pull double duty as a jacket. It works nicely with khaki slacks, a white shirt and any color tie or bowtie. It's also a knock out with a pair of hounds tooth trousers.
Here's what you can expect with Orvis when it comes to their committment to their customers. They simply underpromise and overperform. I'd rate them A+_"
