"I orderd a red, size double X sweater for my husband for Christmas. It did come before Christmas. BUT it came in an XL not XXL...It did not fit. I had to get him another one at a local store and will return the Orvis one. Very disapppointing to say the least.The quality seemed good. but that didn't help much."

"After reading other reviews I ordered a large size for my medium sized husband and it does give plenty of room! He decided to keep it as he thought a medium would turn out to be skimpy. It it much thinner than I had anticipated, (but it might be my anticipation that is at fault.) Colour red is slightly duller than as illustrated in the catalogue. Rather pricey for rather "ordinary" jumper."

"This was my second Orvis V Neck sweater. The first was very true to its size and works wonderfully. However, it is a synthetic and not the Merino wool. This sweater appears to be a full size smaller than its label states. I am returning it for credit."
