"The engraved Brass Luggage Tags are still the best on the market, and over the years I have bought at least ten every time I've moved. I recently bought a house, and the first move I made was to order the Orvis tags with my new home address and email address engraved on them.
Unfortunately, the tags are now smaller, and instead of the leather strap and the slot for the strap, they've replaced the slot with a small hole and a small ring attached to a clip-on device, which I do not trust on my check in luggage - too great a possibility it will snag and break off.
Orvis should have stayed with the high quality, and not bought into the idea that customers will buy these at the same price, but smaller and with a cheaper design. I'm disappointed, but could only take off one star."

"These are heavy duty luggage tags that won't fall or pop off when it goes through the Airport Luggage handling machine's. I regularly had a problem with the Airport Luggage equipemnt ripping off my less durable tags - have not had that problem since using these tags."

"Classy look. Looks great on your rough and tumble luggage as well. Sturdy hardware. Little lighter gauge plate than I expected but still ample. I use one on my keychain. Good look, decent quality, got complements on mine."

"Small enough to not get caught in luggage handling systems, tough enough to last a long time and bright enough to help identify your luggage. Go nicely with all of my Battenkill luggage. Thought the shipping charges for such a "small" package were too high"

"This is my 2nd set of the Brass Luggage Tags, I originally got them for my Bullhide Weekend Duffle. I travel a lot and have found that the plastic tags wear out after a year or so of travel, these brass tags look sharp and last much longer."

"Recently received my name tags and they appear to be as advertised. What I found outstanding was the service Orvis provided when my initial order was apparently 'lost' in the mail. Petty theivery is what I suspect. Orvis, promptly, sent a replacement order at no charge. Upstanding & outstanding personal service!"

"Perhaps I ordered incorrectly. I received the luggage tags with my name and street address only. The city and state and zip code were missing from the luggage tag. This should have alerted someone to notify me or something else. What good would a luggage tag be if it didn't have a full address? I returned them and I am sure they will be corrected."
