"It's difficult to think that anyone could have made a better version of this book than Robert Redford did.
The simple story brought to life with terrific acting and beautiful scenery.
i defy anyone to listen to Redford's reading of MacLean's words at the end while "Old Norman" is castiing and not shed at least one tear."
