"Such a good deal, but unfortunately, disappointing when it arrived. The gauze is in fact a thick and heavy material, and the brown color was drab, much different than it appeared on website. I will not wear it, nor will I give it as a gift, sadly."

"A nice chocolate brown, heavy enough to keep your neck warm on a cool day. As another reviewer mentioned, the material is slightly stiffer than lighter scarves - perhaps best to drape or wrap, rather than tie - but the more substantial fabric also makes it better for cooler temps."

"I like the size of this scarf, which works as both a shawl and a draped scarf. I have a number of scarves that work in the winter, but this is one of the few that is perfect for summer. It perks up the solid black or white tops that I favor for summer evening events."

"Scarf is described in catalogue as "cotton gauze" so I expected a light weight , breezy fabric. It is not.
Also it does not wrap and hang as nicely as most scarfs. It may work better in cool or cold weather with a coat."
