"Overall not a bad concept but for the money I would expect more. I am a big fan of Orvis but not this time.
The design is clumsy with too much room at the front area as well as the sleeves. The shoulders are narrow and wide on the bottom. Very unflattering for any body size.
Leather has a strong chemically induced smell and impossible to wear it.
Disappointing."

"Having owned quite a few leather jackets in my time, I was hoping that buying this on-line and unseen would not be a disappointment. This is the most comfortable leather jacket I've ever owned. Stylish; great fit; beautiful colour and nice lining. Not cheap but worth every penny. I'm 6ft 1", chest 44, 185lbs and it fits like a glove. More than happy."

"I was looking for a light weight leather jacket for spring and fall wear. I found this jacket and it's exactly what I was looking for. I would suggest that if your size is close to the top of the range, consider the next size up. The jacket has a tapered snug fit I normally wear a Large and had to exchange for an XL. XL fits great with a little extra room for a sweater if needed."

"Absolutely lovely jacket. Even softer and more sensual that the munitions jacket I bought for my husband. This one is for me and fits perfectly apart from the sleeves being too long. Wore it to go racing at Kelso and felt properly dressed, warm and dry."

"Only had this jacket for a short time but I can tell you that so far I am very happy with my purchase. Superbly soft leather and the design exudes style. Its got the right look; expensive and smartly casual. This is my second leather from Orvis. The first was the munitions jacket which I loved but had to return as the arms where far too long. Same with this one but this time I refused to be beaten and had the arms shortened."

"A really nice looking, lightweight jacket useful for Southern Calif climate. I ordered size medium; the fit over chest and torso was good but sleves were about 2 inches too long. I wear a 32' shirt sleeve. Liked the jacket enough to have the sleeves tailored to fit."

"As mentioned elsewhere, sleeves are on the longer side and the fit is on the snugger side (I ordered a small and am quite pleased, 6'3" and 155).
Wonderful color, a little redder than the picture seems (but nowhere near an issue for me).
Collar folds, which provides a surprising amount of versatility to the look.
FANTASTICALLY soft, definitely a lightweight jacket.
TL;DR - Would buy again."

"I bought this jacket during the Orvis leather sale and couldn't be happier with the purchase. Lightweight leather for those days when you need some protection from the wind but not so much the temperature although I think it would do the job fine in colder temps. Great classic style that can be worn in casual settings to a little dressier. I've had a lot of compliments on this jacket and would recommend highly to anyone looking for a quality leather jacket."

"I was very disappointed in this jacket. I bought the right size per size charts, but found the shoulders tight and the waist very loose. Zippers didn't move easily and pockets were poorly designed and constructed. The overall finish of the garment had a very artificial feel, as if it had been treated chemically way too much. Not a comfortable feel at all, instead quite harsh. I returned it and won't buy from Orvis again."

"I bought this jacket because I wanted something a little more finished looking than a wind breaker. It was a perfect choice. I'm six feet, 180 pounds and my suit size is 42L. I bought the jacket in a L and it fits perfectly. The leather is supple and the color is rich. My wife, an accomplished seamstress, says that the workmanship is excellent. My only complaint is that the very day it arrived, Orvis offered it for almost $100 less than I paid for it and what you'd pay for it now. That left a bad taste in my mouth."

"I own 6 leather jackets-- this is my new favorite-- soft lambskin-- great quality. I like the small collar that can be up or down. I have an iPhone 5 and it fits perfectly in the outer top zippered pocket. I like the zippered pockets for security of glasses phone etc. The Lambskin is soft and supple as to be expected, the wrinkles fall perfectly as this jacket conforms to you. I am a perfect medium in size with a 34" waist and this jacket is true to size fits like it was made for me."

"Overall a good jacket but I was disappointed with the size of the waist which I have had to have altered to take out at least 4 inches. I am 5'8" and 137lbs so not that skinny. A small size should be small all round, not baggy at the waist."
