Dog's Nest® Liner with Polypropylene Bead/Cedar Fill

This dog bed liner replaces your original liner perfectly. Non-woven fabric is fully breathable. Polystyrene beads are great for dogs who like to dig in before settling down (not recommended for dogs who chew). Natural cedar keeps the dog bed liner smelling fresh. Cedar is not recommended for hunting dogs. It interferes with their ability to scent. Imported.

Great for diggers,

"My dog is a voracious digger and she loves this bed. She's 13 years old -- i.e. NOT a chewer -- and she rips these liners to shreds. The beads compress and need to be replaced every 8 months or so. It is an unholy mess to replace them and forget about washing the cover...I just throw the new beads in with the old and she smushes them down over time."

48" round hard as a rock,
July 4, 2011
By: JacksSeamstress
"I purchased the 48" round replacement poly bead & cedar. My lab is about 105 lbs. Unfortunately, when the weight of the dog displaces the little bit of available air space not already filled with poly beads, the bed becomes hard as a rock. I had to open the seam, remove the equivalent of 4 kitchen trash containers worth of beads in order to make the bed usable, then restitch the seam. No fun chasing the little static poly balls around that escape the trash bag either. If you want a big bed for a little dog, then this is probably OK, but for a large dog... no good. I'd say about a 60 lb. dog would be about the max. Would recommend purchasing polyfill instead of beads. Fluff is better than rocks."

"Multiple dogs, fifteen years, replaceable parts: these show this is a quality product. I have tried other options, but haven't found anything I, or the dogs, like as well."

"I have used Orvis dog beds and liners for, at least, 20 years, with all types and sizes of dogs. I must admit the large bed, which I just replaced the liner on, is really being tested though!! There is a big 75+ lb. lab mix, who it belongs to. But, we have two 6 month old mini dachsunds, who are testing it for durability. All the dog beds have been great, and I have always kept the covers with each dog's name embroidered on them."
