The Hare's Ear nymph works for one simply reason -- the material. There is perhaps nothing quite as buggy looking as a nymph fly tied with hare's ear. Add some eyes and dress it up a bit and you have the Troutmaster version. It's a Hare's Ear nymph pattern in formal dress and has proven itself very effective. You never know what fly pattern change will turn on the fish, so don't be afraid to change and change often until you find the key. Color, Hare's Ear. Fly pattern available in sizes: 12, 14, 16, 18.

Customer Reviews for Troutmaster Nymph - Hare's Ear
"Looked like something slightly different so I thought I'de give it a try. Went out this past wkend up in WI. Cold and very windy but the fish would hit if you could get your line out. Alot of the takes were subtle but most of the hit's on these were fairly aggressive. While one trip doesn't tell the whole story, this nymph impressed me enough that I'll be ordering more. This time in 10 and 12."

"This is a real humdinger of a fly, it slays the big ones year round under almost all conditions. It made me look like a hotrod. It really attracts those big fat hungry mean trout."
