Our robust, 12-oz. blend of warm cotton and rugged polyester recalls the original ragg fashions of the 1970s, but with a brushed-fleece back for warmth and incredible softness. "I like the warmth of this sweater/shirt. The neck collar is very high and keeps your neck warm. I don't wear it on top but rather use it under a jacket for fishing and it keeps the wind out 100%. I like the color of the shirt a lot. It is a traditional rag color. Best used as an under layer and keeps you totally snug. Great shirt!!"

"Overall quality of the Sweatshirt is nice. Feels nice on, however I could not get past the size of the collar. I prefer to leave the collar up on 1/4 Zip Sweatshirts. That is impossible on this shirt. If they designed it more like their Montana Morning Shirts it would be great. Redesign the collar and I will purchase more. This one however is going back!"

"This is my husbands new favorite "go to" for in the morning while he is having coffee on these cold winter mornings. Waiting for the pants to arrive now so it is a complete outfit.

"I own the two other Orvis sweatshirts just like this (blue and white) which I purchased a few years ago. I hoped that this green one would be up to their excellent quality, but it is not. While it is still a good sweatshirt, the fabric is thinner than my other two and unfortunately the elastic banded bottom and cuffs are not as tight. The bottom of the shirt hangs down more than staying tight around the waist, which I definitely do not like. Overall its just ok."

"This has a really high collar. It folds out nicely or stands up to block the wind. My wife complemented me when I was wearing this. (That doesn't happen often.) It's warm and fits well. Orvis just started carrying some smalls and that let me buy some of the things I've admired for years but were just too baggy or big."

"I bought two colors in this style and find them to be extremely comfortable. I wear them over turtlenecks on cool clear days and they are wonderful. I decided to try them because I bought some similar Orvis styles 3 or 4 years ago and they have worn great. Good buy for the money."

"Like the functionality of the sweatshirt; does what I was looking for,. HOWEVER fabric pills enormously and pills get on whatever else you're wearing, some furniture etc. Quality of fiber used is not very good. Spent lots off time combing off the fabric (inside and out) and had a large handful of pills/fibers that were loose."

"This sweatshirt has the look and feel of quality, with good weight and softness, a smooth finish, well-constructed seams and beautiful colouring. A little lint comes off of the inside onto whatever you’re wearing underneath, so you may want to wash before wearing.
