Battenkill Gun Cases
Cushion and protect your valuable shotgun or scoped rifle in a thick acrylic shearling lining. Two sizes in the regular shotgun case; scoped rifle case designed to fit and protect a rifle with mounted scope. Crafted of moisture-resistant, rugged Battenkill® canvas and leather. Zipper “butterflies” the case for quick drying when hung from top muzzle-end D-ring. Deep tabs keep shearling from catching in the zipper. These gun travel cases have comfortable rolled handles. Shoulder strap included. Personalize with embossing, up to 6 letters. Imported.

Beware Length Description,

"I puchased the long Battenkill gun case based upon the description that it would fit a 52" shotgun. It will NOT fit a 52" gun. My Caesar with choke tubes is 50.5" and it barely fits. It actually deforms the sides when zipped due to the tight fit. I would have sent it back but I had my intials put on the side. The shearling also has a tendancy to shed as well."

"When I became the proud owner of a new Beretta Silver Pigeon 22 gauge over and under shotgun, there was only ONE gun case worthy of this engraved beauty. I promptly ordered your lined Battenkill gun case which is not only the best looking case out at our clay range, but the balance of where you have the handles and shoulder strap make it easier to carry than other brand name cases. The sheepskin lining is plush and protective . Good job, Orvis!"

"Only drawback to this case is the lining. It comes off too easily and causes lint to stick to the checkering on my gun. Always have to wipe the tune down every time I pull it out of case."

"I neeed a new rich looking classy case to go with a new side by side I purchased, The case is very well made and the looks are fantastic. The lining is very soft and prorects the gun from scratching. The green canvas and leather trim are beautiful, I looked at many gun cases before I purchased and this was hands down the best case I could find"

"I have had an Orvis Battenkill gun case for my Winchester 30-06 for about 8 years; it's seen heavy use in the field and is still looks almost new. The shearling lining which I feared might wear quickly and tear is still as thick and as protective as when I first bought it. A few weeks ago I bought another Battenkill case for my .12 gauge, and aside from the shape, can hardly tell the differnce between the two. Everything about these cases is rugged and functional, and the shoulder straps make carrying your rifle or gun to and from the field very easy and comfortable. If desired, the case can be easily folded for stowing in a larger rucksack once you've reached your shooting destination. This is a quality and reasably priced product; I strongly recommend it."

"This was a Christmas gift for my son-in-law, who is an avid hunter. He owns many guns, and gun cases, but this is his first Orvis case. He was very pleased, and it will be put to great use. I bought the same case for my daughter last year, she loves it. I had both monogrammed, a very nice addition. The case is of fine Orvis quality. Highly recommend!"

"I had the old model, a few shoulder strap rivets popped out & Orvis Cust Svc replaced stat with this new version. Very nice and overbuilt product, and better designed than the previous model. I'm a life long customer, and never fail to be impressed with Orvis quality and how Orvis Co. stands behind what it sells."

"I recently purchased a new Caesar Guerini over & under shotgun, and wanted a nice case to compliment it. This is a great case with lots of sherpa padding inside and a durable canvas/leather exterior. I'm very pleased with the quality of the materials and craftsmanship. If I had to do it over again, I'd only change one thing - the length. I'd probably get the 52" vs the 48" model."

"I am using this case for my over/under shotguns. It offers great protection and I really like how the end of the case is wide to accomodate the barrels. I also like the smaller zippers which have lining on either side of them. This cuts down the possibility of scratching your nice gun. I would have rated it 5 stars except for the price. A Boyt Boundary Lakes case is almost as good a case for alot less money!"

"This is my fourth Battenkill Gun Case for shotguns. They only gun case that I would purchase. I purchased my first in l994 and with every new shotgun I purchase it get's a great new home-- a Battenkill gun case. My first was a take down case that is no longer made. The others have been very much the same with only a few changes, i.e. where the Orvis logo is placed on the side of the case. This has been a great shotgun case for me.It is made well and holds up very well too. I have never had a bad Orvis product! I did not get paid for this.Even though I am sold on all of their equipment.
