Bush Shirt
Built from tightly woven pure cotton, our midweight Bush Poplin breathes well and wicks dust and moisture to keep you dry and cool on your adventures. Made to take on outdoor use, poplin has been standard issue in expedition and safari clothing for nearly a century and was used widely in the field during WWII. Two big button-through pleated pockets, working epaulets for binocular or camera straps, and roll-up sleeve tabs. Pure cotton. Washable. Imported.Sizes: S(34-36), M(38-40), L(42-44), XL(46-48), XXL(50-52). Tall sizes 2" longer in the body and sleeve.

"I now have all five of these shirts. The quality and fit are perfect. I am 6' and 150 lbs and order the large.
The shirts are good looking, wear like iron and worn all year. At work, I am always complimented on my crisp and detailed shirts - paired with dress casual jeans and chinos."

"A Mid weight shirt that is very soft, generously cut (true to size), and has true quality build. Excellent stitching, button pockets and sleeves, and a great look and style. PLEASE never stop making this exact shirt...it is fantastic...wear for casual work, and even some shirt and tie functions. Just love it!! Just need a sharp maroon and navy color in this collection. "This shirt exceeds all expectations. I am very particular about shirts. Most are too bulky or poorly designed. I am a slender 5' 9" and 155 lbs. The medium size fits me perfectly. I have used poplin shirts during international travel and for when I was in law enforcement. This shirt will be useful for outdoor activities abroad, but also appropriate for evening or office purposes. I immediately ordered three more shirts in various colors. The black shirt is my favorite; I receive compliments every time I wear it."

"I have worn these shirts for a long time and have found them comfortable, durable, and good looking. I love the recent addition of the left sleeve pocket--I no longer have to dig in my trousers for my phone. The pocket could be slightly larger to fit my phone inside its protective case. Please lose the sleeve straps--they are at a height that keeps sleeves rolled right at the elbow--too low on a hot day and too high on a cool one."

"I recently purchased both the short sleeved and a long sleeved version of the Orvis Bush shirt and have worn them every opportunity I get. The styling of a classic officers shirt combined with the durable and utilitarian heavy cotton fabric makes for an incredible shirt that is sure to please. The roll up sleeves on the long sleeve version allow you to roll those sleeves and ensure they stay there when its warm, and let them down for cool evenings. There is a reason that for decades, thousands of travelers have worn this versatile style of shirt, as the temperature transitions from sweltering heat to cold evenings. Absolutely one of the most versatile shirts in my wardrobe."

"I loved it the minute i saw it !
The Orvis 'Bush Shirt" was a hit on Christmas morning. My son readily modeled it for us and everyone loved it. I chose the color 'Stone' which went along with the Safari 'look' but there were several color choices. I bet the ' Navy' is a winner too. The tabbed,roll up sleeves,the pleated button pockets on the chest and sleeve, and the epaulets gave it a great masculine look . I have four sons. Two of them got them for Christmas . I have just ordered two more for the sons whose birthdays are in January.
I am still enjoying and ordering from The Orvis Ultimate Gift Guide as it was by far the best catalogue I received this year. There was something for everyone and you can count on the quality. My daughter and I are hoping Orvis will offer the 'Bush' shirt for gals too , epaulets and all . Why not ? This family is an
Orvis family. Looking forward to the new catalogue."
