"Bucktail deceivers are awesome for a wide variety of gamefish. This one looks like a real winner that is done right! You don't expect any less from Orvis. I bet the northerns and bass will be all over it! I have used this pattern (out of my own vice though) for a number of years and it is easier to tie than a traditional deceiver, more durable and looks better in the water than the traditional hackle tail version. It is a go to fly for me with northern pike and smallmouth bass, big browns and small muskie."
