Immediate Failure,

"Bought this as a beautiful and practical addition to my dove hunting kit. The triangle bolt failed the first time I used the chair and I had to sit in the dirt all afternoon. I would have been better off buying a plastic bucket to sit on."

"A great seat! Looks great and is very comfortable. I use it for dove hunting and tail gate parties if the parking area is not paved. It also works well with a tweed jacket and a fine double at formal driven shoots."

nice seat with Caveats,
September 17, 2012
By: Dumper
"My biggest complaint was that after 1 day in the Dove field, the nut that kept the three legs held together with a bolt at the axis, fell off disabling the seat. Of course i can get a new nut..but I expect a product of this price to be completely well made and tested to perform for a decade without repair. A simple nut lock or double nut would solve the problem"

Warehouse issue,
September 12, 2012

"The product worked well, but when it arrived it had surface damage that probably was caused by improper storage at the warehouse level. The Chicago store was very helpful and efficient in ordering a replacement. The replacement is in transit so i do not know if this one will arrive in perfect condition."

"Nice and well made but steel pins on base are a no go for the paved sporting clays course. In the field fine. Stabbed a peer by mistake with the feet! Otherwise looks refined and turns heads."

"I am 240 lbs.The seat area should be larger for people to be comfortable in.At best the seat measures 11.75 " corner to corner.Well constructed and will take a much larger person but they will be very uncomfortable sitting for a longer time. Most objectionably were the stainless steel feet. They have 1-1/2" points that are well made for grass, gravel and anything else you want them to dig into for stability.Do NOT use this seat on wood, vinyl, asphalt tile or any other soft flooring as you WILL leave scratches or a hole.Looks great."
