Fly Rod Fireplace Tool Set

Hand forged exclusively for Orvis in Quechee, Vermont, by Rich Franklin, each of these iron fireplace tools has a fly rod tip top as its handle. There is no better accent for the lodge fireplace or the angler's home. Each piece is hand forged and wax finished in an original 19th century blacksmith shop. The complete set comes with a stand and each piece can be purchased separately. Made in USA.

Quality/great looking...,

"Have a fireplace in our den that we use sparingly. As much interested in a high quality set that would add to the character of the room. This set did it in spades. Heavy high quality hand-made craftsmanship; great accent to the room. Only wish is that the base of the stand was a bit larger."

Very Disappointed,

"I had high expectations of quality and was expecting heirloom quality considering the high price of the fireplace tools. I opened the box to find very poor quality tools. The broom crooked and I looked further to find that the handle had the screw welded on crooked. The shovel was welded on crooked. I was expecting much more from Orvis. I would have felt embarrassed to display this set in front of my fireplace. I immediately returned the set to a local Orvis store."

"The quality and workmanship of this set of fireplace tools is exceptional. I missed out on them in 2010 and rushed to buy them when they resurfaced this year. They will last for generations to come and will add a handcrafted touch of class to our lake home."
