The flannel fabric in these shirts is the softest flannel you will ever find, thick and brushed on both sides for maximum softness and comfort. Long-sleeved shirt with button-through patch pockets. Distinctive washable faux-suede trim on the outside neckband, bound buttonholes, and locker loop. Long shirttail hem stays tucked in. Pure cotton. Washable. Imported. "Love the flannel shirt and love Orvis products I have from fly rods to boots... It appears that this one & some of the Orvis Trout Bum fleece missed the quality mark ... Strings hanging, sleeves way to long for large size, etc..... Please fix this so I can keep wearing you clothes as well as all of are family....25 family members........"

"I got the red and black. Nice and thick for winter or late Autumn or a cool spring, but not so that it makes one too warm indoors. Only fault is that perhaps it is quite long and so needs a fairly ample jean or trouser to take the length of the shirt; so even a small calls for one to be really around 5ft 8 at least. But a good shirt."

"My husband was very pleased with the material of this shirt. Very comfortable and soft. He has worn it 3 times since he received it. It states that you may need to iron after laundry but it is a quick touch with the iron. The shirt has wonderful color, looks nice, warm and light weight. He will get another one next year - different color!"
