Hit the sand in comfort and style with these men's leather flip flop shoes. Genuine Nubuck leather upper with soft, recycled nylon webbing. Pigskin leather lining, Nubuck leather footbed. 15% recycled EVA contoured footbed/midsole, 8mm layered arch support. Seashell pattern 20% recycled rubber outsole. Medium width. "I wanted a pair of brown Flip Flops and saw the Patagonia Flop-along in both the ORVIS catalog and on their web site. I am very familar with the Patagonia Brand and know it to be quality,so I ordered the flip flops.
When they arrived I found that the color was in fact an olive green rather than the Brown color as advertized. I contacted ORVIS and and they were very helpfulll ( as always ) and told me to return the shoes for a full refund to my credit card and since the color was advertized incorrectly they would refund my shipping cost as well.
I have purchased many things from ORVIS and have never had an issue with quality however this is the second time I have had an issue with color.The last time was with their Weekender Sport Shirt. It was advertized as a Navy/ Tan and was actually Green/Tan. I returned the shirt and ORVIS said that they would send me a correct replacement shirt,which turned out to be the same color. Rather than return it a second time and be charged for shipping I hung it in my closet thinking I would wear it some day.
This review is not ment to be critical of ORVIS and their products . However I believe they need to be more aware of how they represent the color of items.BTW, the shoes looked great as far as quality they wern't the color I wanted .

"I received these flip flops yesterday in the mail. Let me tell you, they are the best ever! I have owned Reef, Rainbow, and Chaco flops... personally these are my favorite :) I would rank them just above the Chacos because they are lighter and provide better leather soles. If you have owned any of the other brands you will be plesently surprised by the style and comfort of these Patagonia flops."
