Nice choice,
February 22, 2013

"I bought 2 of these in size small and are great to be used in the kitchen for our 2 cairns. I chose the smaller size because it doesn't take up much space. Our dogs curl up nicely on them and are are close to 25 pounds. I have taken cover off and wash nicely. However, I put them in steam setting in my new dryer and insert melted to cover damaging it. This gives me an excuse to buy 2 new beds and learned to avoid placing insert in dryer! Learn from my mistake and wash the covers but never put insert in dryer. Great bed!"

so far so good for a spoiled puppy,

"I bought this bed for my mothers new whoodle puppy who has never really had a bed of her own. She took right to it & it is now her favorite spot to relax. She likes to chew but has not chewed this bed at all. She is 27 lbs & the medium is perfect, lots of room to curl up or lounge out. My 83lb lab has made himself fit this bed too. ( He dosen't know how silly he looks on the little bed but we won't tell him that. ) So it has gotten 2 paws up from multiple dogs."

7th Bed from Orvis,
January 1, 2013
By: DogLover4246
"This is our 7th bed from Orvis. We have 3 dogs and they love all the beds we have around the house. We have large memory foam bolster beds in the bedroom for sleeping at night, but these round beds are the perfect size and price for all around in other rooms. Anywhere we are in the house, they are usually spread out on them and we just keep ordering more, so whether I'm in the office or living room they have something cozy to lay on! They even choose these beds OVER the couch sometimes!"

Dissapointed,

"I purchased 2 large beds. The cover is beautiful and seems to be durable. My youngest Portie drags the bed around. The monagraming is very well done and looks great. My issue is the stuffing that is so minimal it looks like my dogs are laying on a floor mat instead of a bed. I guess I'm going to have spend more money to purchase stuffing or foam. I would not recommend this bed until the quanity/quality of stuffing is improved."

Quality product,
October 27, 2012
By: Zaedae
"The material of this bed looks like it will last for a long time. The filling seems okay so far. I place a "polyfill nest" bed on top of a "4 inch foam" bed (to provide cushion/support) for each of my dogs. A small zipper on the liner so that additional filling could be added if needed would improve this product. When I purchased, the tweed was not available :( so I selected the light brown. The large round is plenty big enough for both my 75lb female and 85lb male Weimaraners, one at a time of course."

Orvis Dog Nest with Poly/Cedar fill,
August 1, 2012
By: DoggieGrandmother
"I have ordered 2 of these (medium) in the last year. The suede medium lasted about a year, and then I decided to order a new one in the brown tweed as the previous inner pillow lining was not sturdy and with use, began to tear apart.. After just one month of use, I noticed that the white inner pillow cover is already beginning to tear, and there is no cedar in it as I had ordered. I am going to try again, and I am ready to order one more nest for another small family dog. I hope the inner pillow cover holds up better after one month and that it has the cedar as ordered."

"After reading the reviews I decided to purchase this bed for my 100 lb lab. Although the fabric seems to be of good quality and they did a fantastic job on the personalization of his name onto the bed, the interior was not the quality i expected. There is not enough stuffing inside of the bed. As soon as my dog lays on it, he sinks to the floor. I imainged it would be a comfy bed for him which would keep him off of the sofas...instead it's like a hard floor mat to him. I am hoping i can purchase (more money spent) some additional stuffing for this bed."

"This dog bed is perfect. It's my second Orvis dog nest, and I love the changes they made! The cover is soft yet feels very durable and is made from a thick fabric. This new fabric seems much better than the original canvas-type that they used before, and I think the color will be more fade-resistant. Mine also has a cover over the zipper. So that might be a new modification. This is the first time I tried the cedar with the polyfill (last time we just got the polyfill) and it's great. Very subtle cedar smell, and not overpowering. Sometimes when a company changes a product, it ends up being a mistake, but in this case they did a fantastic job. Way to go, Orvis! I will extoll the wonders of your dog beds to all my friends. Worth every penny."

"I have a rottie puppy named Ilsa. When she was 6months old, I got this XL polyester and cedar fill dog bed in sage with her name on it. She loves the bed and often sleeps on it in the living room. She would pull the bed around the room but never really chewed on it. However at 10months she decided she wanted to get into the bed. knowing how to move zippers she unzipped the bed and pulled the insides bed out. Sadly she is not that delicate with her teeth and the zipper was damaged. Today I went to the store and asked about replacing the zipper. Within 15min I walked out with a new monogramed cover due to arrive at my house next week at no charge. Good customer service is so rare these days... I will never buy a dog bed anywhere else!!!! Ilsa and I are Orvis customers for life!
I would suggest a tab or something to cover the zipper in future models thus the 4 ratting for features."
