A little tricky,
March 25, 2014

"This material is beautiful to look at but a little tricky to use. I bought it to use for bodies on Zonker streamers. As soon as I cut the material it starts to unravel, After doing some research, I concluded that i have to brush the material with head cement to keep it usable. This is a beautiful material but it would be nice if it was easier to use."

"Black Mylar tubing makes a great body for numerous patterns. Has good reflection in the water and simulates scales well."

Too hard to work with,
April 11, 2012
By: Flyfish3r
from Mandeville, LA
"This Mylar piping is extremely delicate, and does not hold up well. As soo as I cut the length I needed off is started to unravel. This is the first mylar piping I have bought from Orvis and I'm not impressed. A helpful idea would be to make the Mylar pieces thinner, allowing more fibers to intertwine and hold together. They do not hold in place well enough. Tinsel pieces are too thick."
