Tunghead Zug Bug

The Zug Bug was invented by Cliff Zug and is meant to be fished as a caddis imitation. Peacock has always been known as a good color to catch fish and this little caddis fly often proves it. Great fly for still water fishing and with the tungsten bead, it gets down quickly. Excellent dropper fly. Color, Peacock. Fly available in sizes: 10, 12, 14, 16.

"I bought a couple of these after a recommendation from one of the fising guys at Orvis in Manchester, VT and had great success on day one. Early October, good water levels and the browns loved this nymph. I highly recommend it. High sticked it through a deep run and pool about 4 feet below an indicator. They couldn't resist. Thanks for the recommendation."

"I was fishing in upstate new york for baby bluegill and largemouth bass. I started out with a blue wing olive which didnt do to much (I caught one bluegill), but then i tried the zugbug and immediatly on the first cast i catch a largemouth bass... then another... then another"
