Oliver Edward's Freshwater Shrimp

This fly pattern is a beautiful scud/shrimp imitation from one of Britain's most reputable experts. Oliver Edwards creations are the definition of realism and this shrimp fly pattern is as deadly as it is good looking. Color, Natural. Shrimp fly pattern available in sizes: 14, 16.

"Love to fish this on a sinking line by the reeds on June lake. Just a couple of twitches and bam!"

"I caught a beautiful 12-inch Rainbow trout with this fly the first time I tried it. And on a very overfished section of the Chattahoochee, no less.
Great appearance, very realistic looking. I'm glad I bought three, because I'll be heartbroken the first time I lose one of these.

"After casting my line only two times with this little guy I had a 14" native brook demolish it out of the water scaring me to death. I stand by this fly and agree on the previous recommendation on the time frame and usage. This is a North Carolina secret weapon from Stone Mt.state park to Haywood county NC. Orange, Pink, and Beige with golden bead are the ticket for late fall trout (Oct-Nov)."

"Edwards designs incredibly deadly fly patterns, and this one is one of his best. The fly catches trout and grayling with almost disconcerting efficency. It's the only wet fly tied on to my leader from mid-August to late October. Also great in light beige with a copper wire under body for upstream nymphing and bouncing off the bottom. "
