The Prince nymph is easily one of the top 10 nymph patterns in fly fishing. The distinctive wing and tail structure and the glowing peacock herl body make this fly a major go-to in any fast water freestone stream. We've added a tungsten bead to get it down in a hurry for longer drifts in the zone and you shouldn't leave home without it. Color, Peacock. Fly available in sizes: 10, 12, 14, 16.

"The Prince Nymphs in #12 and #14 are well made and nicely weighted. I caught a hungry 15" brown swinging a #14 Prince with my Spey rod on the upper Connecticut River in Northern New Hampshire."

"If your not using the beadhead prince, you are wasting your time on the water. By far the easiest most deadly fly there is. Use in high mountain streams and be prepared to see the stream come alive with trout. Fish love this guy"
"Best fly for getting down deep in fast water and getting strikes. A dozen plus fish an hour is the norm with this fly. Works year round. I've never found another fly to consistently out fish it during faster water conditions"
