Enjoyed our class,

"Very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable instructors. Great for beginners and they can adjust so experienced individuals can learn new skills. Could be geared more for kids, for example less lecture and more experiential activities that holds interest and are more memorable. Could do video feedback during pond casting to save time, give more focused feedback and avoid making everyone view everyone else's video. For a two day course we should get on the stream fishing. Overall it was an amazing class and we'd do it again."

A gift for life,
July 21, 2014
"My 13 year old grandson and I thoroughly enjoyed the 2-day parent/child school. We learned the basics and we learned how to apply them. Both the classroom and the outdoor settings were informative, interesting and fun. The subject matter was presented in a simple, easily understood manner. All of the instructors were friendly, well informed and proficient. The hands on approach reinforced the techniques and information that was shared. My grandson was very engaged and now has the start of would could be a life long avocation. I know that he is looking forward to more opportunities for us to go fishing together. The weekend proved to be a gift to him and to myself as well. Thank you to Truel Myers and the entire staff."
