Great Day,

"A terrific experience. Was a bit apprehensive as I had never been or tried fly fishing before. Was concerned I'd hold everyone back or would be yelled at like the gym coach did in high school. There were 8 of us and two terrific instructors, Forrest and Ben. They made it fun and put everyone at ease. The day was packed with course instruction and hands on practice at the trout ponds. They provided all the equipment which was top of the line and spent time with each of us showing us how to cast and how to correct what we were doing wrong. The very best part was the end of the day when they took us to the Battenkill River -- gave us even more instruction on how to read the river, how to cast in river currents, and how to determine what the trout might be eating to help pick out the right fly to cast with. We all then put on our waders and boots (provided), assembled our rods, picked the fly we wanted to try and set out to find our own private space standing in the middle of the Battenkill. I must have caught my line in the trees a dozen times but quickly figured out what I was doing wrong. I couldn't care less if I ever caught a fish. Just standing there in the river with my rod and reel and listening to the flow of the river was perfection. Would definitely recommend it to any and every one."
