"I recommend the Grosgrain ribbon watch. I was looking for an attractive yet inexpensive watch. The watch keeps perfect time and is good looking with the range of ribbons available. The dial is easily readable. I like it a lot."

"I really like the watch. My wife gave it to me as a birthday gift. Unfortunately the battery does not last. I needed the first battery replaced about 8 months after I received it. I sent it to Orvis and they replaced it after I paid the S&H and battery replacement charges. The battery stopped working after about 6 months. The watch has made an excellent decoration on my bathroom vanity for the last couple of years. I attempted to open the back to replace the battery myself; however without luck. It seems that a special jewelers tool is required to open the backing."

"Poor quality, cheap look and feel, grosgrain bands flimsy. Frankly, it looked like it came out of a gumball machine. Not an expensive watch,but still not worth the price. Surprised Orvis would sell such a tacky item."

"When I told my husband that I wanted to get our two college age sons watches for Christmas, he said "Don't they use their cell phones for time?"- Well, phones may tell you the time, but this watch delivers the STYLE! My two guys LOVED the watches and my PENN student really loved the red & blue college colored band! A great hit this holiday."

"My wife who prefers a larger watch than many of those made for women, asked for this one for her birthday. It was a lovely surprise for her. The watch is simple in design and the bands compliment it beautifully. It was a great price and the way Orvis stands behind what it sells, it is a great value as well. "I'd wanted this watch for ages. When it arrived--what a disappointment. The size is more appropriate for a woman's wrist, and the appearance and quality not at all what I expect from Orvis (I've had another Orvis watch for years, so I have something by which to make a valid comparison). To add a bit of insult, I'll have $6.95 deducted from my refund for return shipping."

"The watch face size is right, not one of the new oversized hunks, and easy to read. I'd prefer a white surface but the light green is not a turnoff.
The colored bands provide in interesting choice of what to wear. You need to insert a link to other fabric watchbands, which Orvis does offer.
I'd like to see other watches offered with a choice of multiple straps.

"I had a watch like this several years ago, and loved it. Lost it somehow moving. Just got this one, and love it already. It is a great size. Does not bulge under shirt cuff and does not stick out and catch fly line like some of my other watches. Wish it had a tan band though. That was my favorite on the old watch."
