Not good for sun protection,

"I purchased the light blue long sleeve casting tee to take on a redfish trip. After the first day, the tops of my shoulders and most of my back was severely sunburnt even though I kept the shirt on all day.
The shirt is very comfortable and light weight but for 60 bucks, it should offer much better sun protection. I will not be wearing this shirt on the flats ever again."

"The sizing and pattern of this shirt need to be reworked. The Had to return this shirt. Chest size is a full size larger than the Orvis sizing chart. So if you order a large the chest size is 48". I ordered this shirt in a medium fit in the chest and shoulders but the sleeves were about 3" to short. To bad because the shirt is extremely soft, I was excited about my purchase, the fit was the problem. I ordered the shirt for long days on the water."

"Great feel and material and nice looking. Runs a little more than a size large. I am normally pretty snug in a large, but a medium in this shirt is slightly loose. I ended up returning the shirt because of one thing: the neck is huge! If you're trying to keep out of the sun, a neck gaiter won't ever cover the space that the neck leaves. I instead purchased the zip-neck version and love it. Also, I don't know where to leave feedback about Orvis in general so I'll do it here. My only complaint is their shipping method. Mail Innovations is slow and inconvenient. It easily takes an extra 2 days over regular shipping and it still costs $10. Please stop shipping this way Orvis."

"This is the most comfortable fishing shirt/outdoor fun-in-the-sum shirt I have owned. Thumb holes keep my oft-burned hands protected too. Dries in an instant too. Excellent for hot days wear you still need protection as it wicks away moisture."

"Upon receiving my first shirt and wearing it a couple times, I immediately ordered another. These shirts are so incredibly comfortable and versatile. I even wear them as a pajama shirt in the fall and winter at my cabin and on my ice fishing trips to Canada. They run just a touch large. I usually wear a large, but Med fits very well..."

"Just received this shirt as a gift from my wife and was saddened when I tried it on for the first time.....The neck was just way too big. At 6' 225lbs & a 17" neck, I still couldn't fill the space provided in a size L shirt. I would definitely still get a sunburn if I wore this. All the other features were great about the shirt. The sizes run a little large so order down, but I do not recommend this shirt. Mine will be sent back. Sorry Orvis."
