"Last season I lost my fly a couple of times at dusk as really good rises were underway but because of the fading light I couldn't tie another fly onto the line.
I've tested this light in my bedroom and it was brilliant. Really easy to attach to a cap or waistcoat, very flexible in terms of where I could point it, really light and surprisingly powerful. Can't weight to get out there."

"This product is perfect for needing light in a bind, especially when getting late on the river. One thing to note: it is an LED so if you're hoping for a soft, warm light, this probably isn't what you're looking for."

"I bought this to supplement my main head torch, but what I've found is that it gives a great low level light for stalking, without the glare and risk of spooking the fish. Seems a bit flimsy but I've only had it a short while so can't comment. But at this price as they say where I come from "you can't fall off". (Means it's a bargain for those of you who for some reason live outside NE England :D )"

"fly shop owners have always pelted us with usless accesories but a flash light is a must have i missed the best evning i have ever seen struggling to see my tangled line, i had nothing but a few wet matches that didn't help. i was sitting on the bank of a trout river on the last day of my trip watching the trout slurp up mayflys instead of landing a 18 inch trout. lesson, you need a flashlight."

"I was impressed by the light weight, the two additional batteries that were included, and how easy it was to re-aim the light. It holds all its variable positions in a solid manner. The two vs four LED light difference isn't significant, I would have preferred it just be on/off. Haven't had to use it in a "waterproof" environment yet. I would recommend it to people - it is part of the bag of gifts I am giving to the groomsmen at my wedding. Bought an extra one for myself and am glad I did so."
