"I was recently tempted by the special offer of a free Battenkill reel with any Helios rod purchased. On my first outing with this rod I was able to cast further and better than any of my other rods, it is very light and very well finished. I would highly recommend this rod and the Battenkill VI in gold that I was given with it. At £819 less the price of the reel it brought the cost down to under £600 which for a rod of this quality is a very fair price. However, if the offer has finished, at £819 having now used the rod I would still say it was good value."
