"This Helios Spey is another rising sun from Orvis. Fantastic finish from but to tip, and a wonderfully deep emerald color - aesthetically a must for any two-handed fisherman. And the best part is, it is a fishing rod. It is light which means you can fish all day with sink tip lines. It is strong as well and can pick up even sinking lines easier than comparable products in the top quality class. Last but most importantly, it is a joy to cast with this rod. Everything goes easier, the tip-flex and the backbone of the rod almost handles the line alone - from the pick up, over the D to the shooting of your line; and small differences in line-compositions does not influence the extraordinary abilities of this rod in any way. I have in the line of being a fly-casting instructor handled the same line on almost every thinkable rod - and nothing compares to the Helios - the sun is up. See for yourself!"
