Dahlberg Diver — Frog

Frogs make a lot of noise in the water. This sinker fly is designed to dive and resurface when stripped much like a swimming frog. The bulk of this fly pushes a great deal of water and attracts big predators like bass and pike. This bass sinker is designed to be fished without subtlety and the takes will be far from subtle as well. Size: 2.

Well Tied & Fun to Fish,

"This fly is well tied and fun to fish. The weed guard works very well. I like to cast these out to weed beds and strip them back with short, fast strips."

Solid purchase,

"First time fly fishing for largemouth, friend recommended a diver. As soon as I received it I took it to the water that day. Makes a solid blurp, and 2nd cast hooked into a nice bass. I also hooked a pickerel and the fly is still in good shape somehow. Great quality."

"This bug is great for very early in the morning or at the end of the day when the big bass are out on the prowl. Due to its size, I would suggest an 8 wt. outfit when using this fly. A bonus with this size is that the sunnies will not bother you in your persuit of big bass. It is durable and holds up well. It also has a weed guard. A must have for topwater bass."

"I love using these big bass frog flies. They can result in huge strikes on the surface. Just plop it near some pads or a dock and give it intermittant pops. However, they only hit if they're really feeling aggressive because they're just too lazy to chase something that looks like it might run away. It's a big wind resistant fly so an 8 weight would be best, but I get by with a 6 weight. CHECK OUT THE FISH I GOT!!!!"
