Plain front with an inconspicuous comfort waist. Rear besom pockets. Classic fit, trimmer through the thigh. In Black Watch, Royal Stewart. Dry clean. Imported.Even waist sizes 32-46. Cuffed up to 34" or plain finished up to 35" at no extra charge.

"Description of the slacks was accurate. Quality of merchandise excellent. My only "knock" is that the selection of length is not in my range. I was unable to get them hemmed at 24 1/2 inches and was, therefore, forced to spend an additional $15.00 to have them done at the local tailor. I "chatted" with someone at Orvis who told me that 24 1/2 was not possible. I don't understand that if I can get other lengths why can't I get 24 1/2."

"The quality of the sewing is not very good. The seamstress/tailor used a very long length in the stiching of the waistband to the slacks. The slacks are Blackwatch (blue/green); the thread is red, and it is noticeable."

"The Scottish Tartan Pants are perhaps the best fitting pants I've gotten from Orvis. I particularly like the rise not too short, as is the current fashion and not too long so one looks like a Miami Beach Retiree. The flexible waist is a nice feature but I do wish the cuffs were a little wider. A wider cuff would 'anchor' the trousers better. But overall a very nice pair of pants I wear on 'Casual Friday'."

"My husband really liked the pants. The adjustable waist is nice, but if ordered small might show at pocket opening. The blackwatch is understated and both look awesome with a black velvet jacket."

""Fit" is always a concern when ordering clothes online. These trousers were sized exactly as promised. Why only "almost" perfect? The trousers are not lined. Otherwise, exactly what I wanted at a price that was substantially below the UK competitors that I shopped."

"I have been searching for red plaid trousers to wear during the upcoming holidays. I was extremely happy to find Orvis. I love the slacks. They fit like a glove and the extra stretch waistband will come in handy after Christmas dinner. I've been taking the Orvis catalog to a couple of family get togethers, everyone is was impressed. Now I' m waiting for "The Coolest Patch Pants In The World" to arrive. I can't wait for the springtime to arrive. Now back to the catalog for a belt......"

"There are planty of plaids out there, but the tartans often aren't right, these are "the real deal."
Good hearty wool, comfortable liner, vivid, "correct" tartan plaids; at a price that won't break you. I bought a pair in Royal Stewart, and wound up getting another in Buchanan. Really spice up your wardrobe for the winter, especially the Buchanan. Black watch more subtle, and I'm getting ready to order them. Highly recommended."

"I love these pants! They are very unique and classy than what most people are used to. I have had a plethera of compliments in the short time I have owned them. By the way, great job to Orvis on hemming so quickly. Locally I would have to wait 2-3 weeks for pants. These were reaady to ship in 2 days. The only request I would have about these pants are that I wish they were lined because of the wool. Wool pants are more ecomfortable lined, in my opinion! Orvis is a classy store and I love the clothes. Thanks!"

"great that us scots can fine quality clothing in tartan colors and patterns that are easy to order and priced appropiately. Bring on more items ...ties, hats, scarves, etc.....maybe even get into kilts????"
