"Dave's Cricket is a great fly to use in late summer when hatches are a mere memory. I have had great luck with this fly in areas that are heavily wooded with plenty of dead trees extending into the water, areas that usually don’t harbor hoppers. Drift it close to undercuts and washed out trees and prepare to be amazed! Best of luck!"
