"I WAITED EXCITEDLY TO RECEIVE MY NEW ORVIS BROWQN LEATHER BOMBER JACKET. iMAGINE MY DISMAY WHEN UPON OPENING THE BOX i SAW A JACKET THAT LOOKED NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE. iNSTEAD OF THE GORGEOUS MEDIUM BROWN JACKET I THOUGHT I BOUGHT I SAW A DEEP CHOCOLATE BROWN JACKET.ON TOP OF THAT ONE OF THE TWO SNAPS ON THE BOTTOM WAS BROKEN.i'M VERY DISAPPOINTED AS THIIS IS NOT A CHEAP JACKET."

"Several reviewers have pointed out that this is a very nice jacket and I fully agree. I like the dark brown color and the feel of the leather. It is soft enough for comfort but also tough. Only negative, the zipper pull looks too flimsy for a product that will get some rough use. We will see if it lasts."

"I had an identical leather jacket ( purchased at Orvis ) for over 20 years and replaced it only because the zipper broke . I feel that this jacket is of the same quality as my original jacket and I am very pleased with it's construction , color and fit ."

"Absoloutly the best leather jacket I have ever orded. However it is too much for the mild winters in central Florida. Unfortunatly had to return it. Only other option would be to move further north.....still thinking about it."

"The color of this jacket was nothing like what is pictured in your catalogue or on the internet. This jacket is a dark, dark brown and I was shopping for more of a copper or mahogany brown as shown in your catalogue. I will not purchase anything from your catalogue in the future because of this disappointment."

"After the rave reviews, imagine our total disappointment when we received the jacket and the leather was of inferior quality, the snap was broken, and it was just cheap workmanship. The jacket went back the next day. My husband was so looking forward to wearing this jacket this winter. Don't purchase!"

"I love everything about this jacket except the zipper design. I returned this jacket twice because the zipper in one jacket frayed the leather where the zipper is attached to the jacket. On the second jacket the zipper frayed the zipper flap. If the zipper design was changed (bigger zipper without sharp edges), I would buy this jacket in a heart beat."
