"This classic fly is a great fall-back fly, when nothing else works you better put one on. Flashback is a good way to get their attention fast. Keep a half dozen with you at all times and you'll be set for a long time."

"This is our "go to" fly for the LIvingston Spring Creeks here at Hubbard's Yellowstone Lodge. We often fish a size small. Works great for PMDs, Baetis, and Sulphurs. We usually use the flashback version in 18 and 20. But the larger sizes get lot of use in Lamar Valley for the Grey Drake hatch."
"My last three trips I have only used this fly in flashback and it was deadly. Did not even consider changing fly's. After the three trips two of the flys were distroyed by the fish and had to be retired. A must have fly in # 14 and #16."
"No one should leave home without one of these. I like the flashback personally but the regular is also deadly. A must have for every fly fisherman's box."

"The proverbial chalkstream trout and grayling fly that performs around the world. My buddies and I have caught more 12-18 inch grayling on this one fly than with any other. The dyed- olive version in size 16 can be so deadly during the early and late season Baetis sp. hatches that it should almost be banned! "
