CDC Emerging Caddis

Emerging caddis flies are most vulnerable when they are breaking free of the shuck in the film and trying to dry their wings. Anglers who have been fly fishing this pattern have given it great reviews on its effectiveness as it hangs in the water. The CDC gives this fly just a bit a buoyancy to keep it in the top of the film. Caddis flies available in sizes: Cream (16, 18) Brown (16, 18), Olive (16, 18).

"So I for the fly I was kind upset because it was not mad in America. But the fly stands strong and works very well on white river in Arkansas."

"This is by far one of the most successful flies I've ever used. This fly lands me browns from spring to fall. Almost anytime trout are sipping emergers this pattern can be used successfully when combined between sizes and colours properly."

"Simply one of the best caddis patterns out there. Mostly fished deep but also effective sub-surface. If there are caddis in the waters you fish do yourself a favor and try this pattern you won't be disappointed."
